Daigoro ran along this new and strange landscape, following this woman who had seemingly appeared from a cryo-pod in a nearby ditch, and climbed her way out. He sighed as he ran, and the stopped short, realising that he was at the top of the ditch. Shit, he thought to himself, and, deciding to go for broke, slid down the wall of the ditch before realising something. This side of the ditch was vertical. He slid for a second, before tumbling head over heels, and landing at the bottom.
"Ow, ow, ow..." Daigoro moaned, but picked himself up, and began to keep running for the woman. "HELLO? CAN YOU HEAR ME???" Daigoro shouted.

Not getting too far before she found herself being called to by a red-haired man, Miriam turned her head and saw. The man was covered in dirt from his fall down into the ditch, and that couldn't nessacarily be good. She found herself turning around completly as her response to his calls.
"Are you ok?" She asked as she walked up to the man. She was releived, deep down, because she almost feared that she was completely alone on this planet. But if there was one person here, there were likely to be others. "I hear you just fine, don't worry about that, worry about yourself. You don't have to be jumping off of ledges so soon, you aren't that close to death yet... I think."
She held her coffee can close to her chest, peering around every now and again, staring at the browned grass. "That might be a plant, or it could be a rock or mineral. If it's a plant, there's water. If it's not, then, well..."

Daigoro slowed down a little, eventaully stopping next to the woman... "Glad to hear that you're alright... Nobody else has woken up, as far as I know..." He turned back towards the landing site. "We should stay over there. It's where everybody gets out of their pods, and as far as we know, the safest place. If we can't find water, we will all move on. As a group. Agreed?"
As he started to move back towards the landing site, something caught his eye... The ditch side that he had fallen down. His eyes opened wide. The cliff... that's not natural... That's not natural at all. Daigoro turned and looked at her. "I'm Daigoro, by the way..." He sprinted off, towards the cliff, and when he gt there, he started moving his hands over it. What is this...

"You're not going to be able to get back up that way," Miriam said, examining the cliff from afar. She couldn't see the details, but the way he seemed to be looking at the side of the cliff, she might as well go over to him and see if she couldn't figure out what the hell he was looking at. "Daigoro, what are you..."
Looking at the cliff, Miriam saw why he was so shocked. The cliff didn't look like it was made of rock. It looked like it was made of some sort of leather. It was too light brown for it to be anything else. It almost looked like flesh. Almost, but not quite. There was still an unliving quality to it that made Miriam wonder about the entire thing. How strange was this planet that no one knew anything about?
"It's not going to look like Terra," Miriam stated. "This is a different world, and who knows how far away we are from that industrial wasteland."

Daigoro took another look at the wall, and sighed. "At any length, it's going to be better than Terra. Nothing can be worse than it, that's for sure..." He kept looking over the wall, and knew that Miriam was right. There really was no way over the wall... He smiled. "We may need a back-up plan here... Any chance of you having something on your person to help us out of this mess? I mean, I don't..." Daigoro kept looking around, hoping to find another way up, but it seemed hopeless... "Any bright ideas?"

"All I can think of is walking around. There's no way either of us is going to climb this. It's perfectly straight up. I can't levitate, I don't think you can either," Miriam said as she started to walk back the way she had started off in the first place. As she did, she looked back only once, to make sure that Daigoro was following her. "Are you coming or what?"
She gave him no time for a reply as she started to continue walking in that same manner that she had walked in before. She started to break into a slight run, every now and again she looked back to make sure that she wasn't leaving Daigoro behind. Of course, that probably wouldn't be the case.

Daigoro kept at a quick-walk, literally dogging Miriam's every step. He didn't really want another accident, as that one was going to be difficult to recover from. He sighed, looking at the sky. The planet had two suns, not just the one. Hm, different... I guess that this is an alien planet after all... As he followed Miriam, he made sure to keep on hand on the wall next to him. "This is endless..."

"It can't just go on forever and ever, that's impossible. Come on, we're not going to make any progress if we just quit," Miriam said as she continued on. Although, I don't know how long we've been walking. There's no way to keep track of time when you don't know how many hours there are in a day.
The heat of two suns beat down on Miriam's back as she walked. She ignored it, even as she walked on. After all, if she wasted her time complaining they wouldn't make any headway. And that was something that Miriam couldn't afford to miss out on. She squinted her eyes to look to the end of the wall, smiling as she saw a place where the cliff curved upwards. "We're not too far off."

benjamin was following the calling but then it stopped maybe the people were in trouble or not he was wondering because he had noticed a pod and the doors were opened so he had been following the footsteps in the dust on the ground then he saw the large ditch and he noticed that there was a bit of a fall that went on down it and he saw the fact that it was near a vertical 90 degree angle but when he look closer he saw two steps of footsteps going away from where they had started so he decided to follow them from the top of the ditch he decided to jog just incase the two people were in trouble he made sure he had his knife with him he had finished eating his chocolate bar and he had his book with him but this was not the time to read as he continued to jog hoping to catch up.

Daigoro kept his step behind Miriam, and looked upwards when she motioned towards the end of the wall. "I never said quit, just... endless..." He sighed, the two suns beating down on his back as he walked. He sighed. "It's almost amazing, seeing that we can survive on this planet... I do hope that we have some sort of water source around here... Otherwise, we'll all die..."

"Yeah. No kidding," Miriam said as she continued to walk onwards towards the end of the wall. She found herself in a place where she could easily jump what remained of the wall. She jumped nearly three feet upwards, grabbing onto the ledge and pulling herself up. She looked back to where she saw the gases from the escape pods, and moaned. They were so far away...
"Daigoro, it looks like we still have some walking to do," Miriam said, looking down to him and taking a step forward.

Daigoro nodded and clambered up the wall with ease. He turned in the direction of the pods, and followed Miriam along the way... He sighed, before noticing a glint in the distance. He squinted. Was it... glasses?
(sorry if so short...)

(OOC: Ben, please use periods and commas in your posts. Don't make me write a Grammar FAQ now! XO)
Miriam walked on, seeing what looked like a figure in the distance. In truth, she was hungry. Very hungry. But not as much as she was thirsty. It must have been the fault of the cryogenic sleep she was in. After all, she was basicly in a self-induced coma. She hadn't noticed, but now she did. And she was starting to think that that figure off in the distance was her own imagination.
Is that a person- no. I doubt it.
Miriam shrugged off the sight of another person, writing it off as a halucenation. It couldn't possibly be anything else, but out of curiosity, she turned her head to Daigoro, asking, "Did you see a person over there?"

(OOC - I've told him a NUMBER of times... I'm beginning to give up on him here...)
Daigoro yawned, and looked over at the glint of light again. He squinted, looking into the distance. It was difficult at first, but, yes, it was a person. A guy, with glasses on. Reading. Right. He sighed. Great. Oh well, we have something for a fire, at least. Daigoro put his hand over his forehead, shielding his eyes. "I do see someone, Miriam. Your eyes are not decieving you, that's for sure... It's a person alright..."
He held his stomach. Like Miriam, he to was hungry as hell...
